22 Dee's steez.
Perfect. Large clip is easy to put on or removed while wearing your gloves.

Works well but not much room to spare
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
The Axl/Vice leashes work well, however for a men’s size 12 foot, there isn’t much room to spare in the leash tension. Which makes it a little tricky to attach, but otherwise works well.

Solid leash
- Familiarity:

Not a fan of the coiled cable, but the latch is great. Having had many (probably all) of the various leashes produced over the past 3 decades, these may now be best available (Black Diamond discontinued building my favorite a few years back).

Does the job
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Inexpensive, quality leash. I use it with the Meidjo telemark binding, and it connects up seamlessly.

Good Simple Tele Leash
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
These are simple. Fairly easy to clip on and off with gloves. Mine are coiled wire leashes, not the nylon straps.

22 Designs has redesigned this leash
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
The photo of these leashes is wrong and needs to be updated. 22 Designs has removed the Fastex buckle ankle strap and now the leash is much shorter and connects to the power strap of your boot from the binding heel throw. Does this sound less secure and awkward? I think so. Furthermore, depending upon the type of powerstrap you have, the leash may now belong to your boot rather than your ski. Strange. If you switch boots as frequently as I do, then this spells inconvenience. Maybe someone can explain why this design is an improvement? Does it save weight? - No, the trigger snap ingot is the same and the pair still weighs 3 oz.
