My All-Time Favorite Shell Jacket
The ATV jacket's fit, style, and features significantly surpass any other Gore-Tex jacket I've owned. I primarily use this shell for resort riding, but it is plenty packable for backcountry missions on the splitty.

Runs tad big... go true to size for best fit
Love love LOVE this jacket, but did have to go back to my regular size of XL vs. XXL to accommodate broad shoulders and monkey arms. I'm 6'2" and 225 and was worried about the XL (which I normally wear) pulling behind back or coming up short in sleeves. I should have stayed with XL, and 686 made exchange a breeze. The material is nice and quiet (not crinkly or swishswishswish) and the zippers are BOMBER. Love all the features they packed into this jacket and it is definitely a "quiver of one" when it comes to your waterproof jacket collection!

A complete bombproof storm rider

This jacket is a must buy for anyone that spends a bunch of time at the resort or in the backcountry. Great job 686 designing this jacket. Not so nice
Material is very crinkly and feels cheap, fit is strange, huge cuffs, long arms and baggy body.
