Fragile Zipper

Don’t expect to get more than a season out of this jacket. My 10 year old tried to zip his coat up today and the zipper broke off in his hand. Unfortunately this is considered “normal wear and tear” and not covered under 686’s warranty. I’ll steer clear of 686 in the future.

Ok quality
We were excited to receive the new jacket (blue and red color way)! Upon closer look, I noted a few areas where the thread was already starting to pull out on the chest and armpit areas. Knowing our 5 year old is going to wear this, I can imagine how quickly these areas are going to snag.

Fantastic for snow sports
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off the colour is fantastic to see your child on the ski hill. Our 14 year old loves all the pockets to stash snacks and his phone. The super durable zipper doesn’t get caught in fabric. Now we are a 686 family. Not to mention the discount was very attractive.

Great Bad Zipper

Bought this jacket and returned it twice. Loved it nice and warm son loved how it looked, but the tab the zipper mated to broke off of both of the jackets. The first jacket it broke after three wears, second time it only took two.

Initial jacket zipper broke.
Jacket itself is great. Zipper quality is marginal at least on the jacket I received for my kid But still worth buying another jacket

Boys hydra camo jacket in yellow
I ordered the hydra jacket for my son , he absolutely loves it! I purchased the lime green/ yellow colour. Great quality material and water proof zippers. Great jacket for a young snow boarder! Fits a bit big but not an issue as he will grow into it. Highly recommend!

Perfect Very Warm Jacket needs Arm Vents
An awesome toasty warm jacket with great pockets n features. Two items I feel were a miss: Needs Arm/Pit vents to regulate the heat. Hood is too small to fit over boys helmet .
