What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I love how the Adizero Evo SL combines speed and comfort in a way that makes every run feel effortless. The LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam in the midsole delivers incredible energy return without adding weight, so I feel fast and efficient whether I'm running an easy pace or pushing through tempo workouts. The Continental Rubber outsole grips well on pavement, and the sleek design looks just as good off the track as it does on it."
We chase speed with every step, and the Adizero Evo SL makes it easy. Drawing inspiration from record-breaking models, this lightweight shoe from adidas is built for those who move fast—whether that means crushing tempo runs, sprinting to the finish line, or simply tackling the day with momentum.
A responsive LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam midsole fuels each stride with high-energy cushioning, while the sleek synthetic upper delivers a secure, breathable fit. Continental Rubber traction ensures confident footing on roads and tracks, and with its bold, race-inspired aesthetic, the Adizero Evo SL is as stylish as it is fast.

Comfortable and responsive for a non-plated shoe
I'm a Boston 12 girl. I keep my Adios Pro 3 for races. I use my Adios 7 and my Adios Pro 2 for interval and intense runs. And my Boston 12 was my favorite shoe, responsive, soft, comfortable, lifghweight. But after 500 miles I was starting to feel pain after running and was looking for another lightweight, comfortable and fast shoe to buy. I didn't want to buy another Boston 12 because I know the 13 will be released soon, so I decided to give de EVO SL a try and really liked it! It's isn't as responsive as the Boston (I miss the energy rods) but it's responsive for a shoe without carbon plate/rods. And it's really comfortable. But I'm a heel/midfoot striker and when I use EVO SL I find myself more of mid/forefoot striker. I find the my calves struggle more and it's a little bit painful. But I find it good! Because it shows me that I those parts were weak and I need more strength workout.

Finally a cool shoe for my double wide feet
My feet are 5.5 double wide. I usually size up to 6 wide. Even then, most shoes still don't end up working for me, but somehow this one does...without even having to go wide. Ran a 5k the day these arrived. Those were my fastest 3 miles in months. My average pace dropped by nearly 30 seconds. Fancy race day shoes never fit on my feet so I never could experience what my friends do when they say their race shoes shaved seconds off their pace, but I think I finally found mine!

Possibly the best shoe of the year!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an AMAZING shoe! I can't specifically say why I love it, I just find myself reaching for it every morning out of all my other shoes. It feels FUN and it's just so NATURAL feeling. It can manage any pace and feel great - easy pace, tempo pace, strides. LOVE THIS SHOE!

Sadly returning..
Fits true to size. I am a size 9 in all adidas running shoes. They are very light and have bounce to them. However, the heel lockdown was poor. I had to tighten the laces so much to stop my heel from slipping that it hurt my foot after 2 miles. Returning.

Great fast shoe!
I recently started training in these, and after about a week, I had a half marathon. I ran much faster than expected, and I never felt like I was moving that fast. The shoes spring back nicely and absorb impact well. I do wish the toebox had a little stretch, but this just takes some getting used to and had no negative impact on training or racing.
