Why We Like The Adidas Terrex Free Hiker 2 C.Rdy Shoe
The Adidas Terrex Free Hiker 2 C.Rdy Shoe is designed to keep us on the trails when cold weather strikes. Built with Cold.RDY PrimaLoft insulation, these boots trap heat to keep our feet warm when the temperature drops, while the GORE-TEX membrane keeps moisture from seeping through to our socks as we hike along wet, icy trails. The Primeknit uppers offer a snug, sock-like fit that protects us from the elements, and the protective top-cover ensures our feet are protected from the worst winter has to offer. A responsive BOOST midsole cushions every step, providing bouncy energy return on long hikes, and the the Continental rubber outsole keeps a solid grip on slippery terrain.

For v.03 please revert back to principle of v.01
Was looking for the follow up of the 1st version (with sock and zipper at the top) because the version 01 are my best shoes ever as I truly hate shoelaces, come on we are 2025 and shoelaces are so 20th century. But seriously disappointed now that Adidas steered away from version 01. Is there somewhere guidance how to look after version 01, especially the inside can use a wash. Version 01 principle is great but why did you not follow up with just more color and styling variations?

Love it, the sole boost also boost my confidence..
Man….. I wear it to work everyday, and don’t have to worry about getting my feet wet. The ankle support is on point. Love love love it… breaking in took two weeks for me.

Great Performance, Tricky Zipper
These shoes deliver on their promise of being very light and surprisingly warm. I've enjoyed the freedom of movement they offer compared to heavier winter boots. The comfort is also excellent, making them great for extended hikes. However, the zipper design is a bit of a letdown. It feels a little awkward to handle, and I've found that closing it requires a specific process to avoid any catching or difficulty. It's a minor frustration in an otherwise excellent hiking shoe. If you can get past the zipper, these are a fantastic option for cold-weather trails.

Simply Outstanding
I needed to replace my Terrex Pathfinder boots (my 2nd pair) and I was at first skeptical these new Terrex boots would do as well in the MN winter. Well I was wrong and these boots are simply outstanding in 0 degree F (-18 C) and snow/ice. These are clearly the most comfortable boots I ever owned and the quality has been excellent (to date). I love the design and the reflective accents for low light walks. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

Nice but not great
Boots are super nice but zipping is hilarious, super tight and uncomfortable, change the design for next model , and lacing system is awful, last year model with sock liner was way better !!!
