VERY comfortable but poorly made
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times

I have had a pair for 2 seasons. I had a total knee replaced last year so that season was shortened. This year, I have used the boots just since December and we are only in mid January. The padding in the heel space is now completely shredded in both boots. Ridiculous. I did order another pair today because I have hard feet to fit and these are very comfortable. However I have NEVER had a boot fall apart this fast

Garbage

I replaced my cross country ski boot that I had for 20 years with these Alpina boots. I generally do not write reviews however these are so poorly constructed they should be ashamed of themselves. The boots had 1.5 seasons of use and the seams are failing on both boots in the same place and snow is now entering the boots. They said they were out of warranty (1 year) so there was nothing they could do. Also, they are also very uncomfortable with a toe cap that when you extend your toes it digs into all of your metatarsal joints and leaves a mark on my feet. This company has been around for a long time and no longer putting out quality gear.
