When the avalanche report gives us the green light we zip-up the Armada Haydon 3L Gore-Tex Jacket and head for the hills. This jacket breathes well on the uphill and is packed full of features like a helmet-compatible hood to keep us covered when the weather takes a turn for the worse. When we get to the top of our line we pull our goggles out of the internal mesh pocket and drop in.
