Why We Like the Corax GV Backpacking Boot
We depend on Asolo's Corax GV when the trail is long and the weather forecast looks wet. It's a supportive, comfy backpacking boot built with Gore-Tex waterproofing for solid protection from rain, snow, and mud. We also like that Asolo used Schoeller K-Tech softshell fabric for the upper. It feels stretchier and more breathable than most leather boots.

Love, love, love these boots! They a re comfortable right out of.the box, yet sturdy and supportive. My feet are slightly narrow, but these fit without any issues, no blisters or rubbing. Shoe is very stylish as well.

These boots are great
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 7
Wore these boots for the first time on a 6 mile hike with a three thousand foot elevation gain in Colorado. Very rocky and uneven trails. Absolutely no blisters, no problems and great protection from feeling the rocks through the bottoms of my shoes (which was why I bought these instead of wearing my usual La Sportiva Mountain Hiking shoes, which I love, but which were just not up to so many sharp rocks everywhere). Great ankle support, make sure they are laced up tight enough so that you have as little movement as possible (without cutting off your circulation lol). I wear a size 6.5 - 7 Euro size 38, wore a fairly thin Pro Compression sock, weather was in the mid 60s. Other boots I have and love are the classic leather Vasques (have had over ten years) and Zamberlan.
