Why We Like The ASSOS EQUIPE R Bib Shorts S9
The ASSOS EQUIPE R Bib Shorts S9 is built for training, racing, and even just everyday rides where we need a bit more compression to help us through. Constructed Type.443 fabric, these bibs are unbeatably breathable, super supportive, and even have a UPF 50+ rating to keep our thighs protected from the sun's harmful rays. Plus, the Mono 9 chamois is thermoformed to reduce irritation and delivers just enough cushioning to keep us comfortable on race day.

High Quality Product
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
These are made very well and are true to size. I am 5'9" and 158lbs. The Medium fits me well. I like that the chamois is 9mm thick, as it's not too thick like some other 14mm products. I use this on an Infinity saddle and am happy with the combination.

Surprisingly pool quality for the price
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Out-of-the-box impression: Disappointingly flimsy fabric. Poor quality butt padding material, not well finished, with "wings" in the crotch area that are not sewn down to the outer fabric. The "wings" just flap. A quick try-on verified my first impression; poor (loose) fit around the knees. I would not trust the pad on a ride. Back they go.

Best cycling bibs and shorts by far
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I have worn bibs and shorts from many companies. Assos make by far the best bibs and shorts period. Most comfortable and durable.
