Why We Like The ASSOS Equipe RS S11 Bib Short
ASSOS engineered the Equipe RS S11 Bib Short with a lightweight, comfortable design that features increased cooling breathability, body-wrapping compression, and optimal odor control, thanks to the new Type.911 textile offering more elasticity and compression than the Type.411 textile used in the previous model. We like how quickly it dries, the 50+ UPF protection it boasts, and how comfortable the RS S11 insert keeps us as we spend hours on end in the saddle.

Great fit! Lacking durability
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I have used these bibs for roughly 400 miles so far and they fit great and are very comfortable for longer rides 50+ miles, have unfortunately developed a small hole by the front stitching of the chamois.

Top Notch Quality and Comfort
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Very breathable chamois makes for amazing comfort and no swamping on long hot rides. Awesome leg grippers and the secure fit NEVER have me readjusting so I don't have to worry about chaffing or saddle sores. I've never had a bib that fits this good and I look forward to every ride I do in these. Will be getting another pair ASAP so I can have these constantly in rotation over the summer.

They feel like they almost disappear.
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I just took these out for a ride this morning. It's almost like wearing nothing at all...in the best way. They fit perfectly! The fabric is cut so the compression feels uniform and the seams are minimal. This led to the bibs really fitting like a second skin. The bib straps have the right length and tension to keep chamois and everything else in the perfect spot, and the leg openings only have silicone dots where they need to be to keep them from moving up the thigh. There were no odd feelings of pulling or tugging in any part of the bibs when on the bike, and at the same time there was no bunching or fabric or any wrinkles to speak of. The chamois is very breathable and padded enough to keep things comfy. Their construction and the previously mentioned fit work together to keep the placement locked in. Obviously, longer rides will have you reaching for the Mille GTs, but for race conditions these are great. I have last year's RS bibs and while I liked them, they were not this good. Assos nailed these.

Worth it!

My previous Assos bibs were the S9 and I wasn't a huge fan. When I saw these S11's I figured I'd give them another chance. I am SOOOOO glad I did. These bibs are perfect! I got the longer-leg version because I am 6'1" and I like bib shorts that cover more of my skin. The biggest upgrade over the S9 for me is the leg grippers on the back of the raw-cut leg openings. Way more comfy than the legs on the S9! The X-frame bib strap keeps the chamois where you want it. And the chamois is super comfy. Has the features we've come to love with the brand. I can't wait for some all-day summer rides in these bib shorts. They are so light and breathable that summer riding should be ultra comfortable. Pro tip: Pair these with the new S11 jersey and you will be looking pro!
