Not up to usual ASSOS quality

I made the mistake of disregarding the earlier reviews. While they are comfortable, provide just the right amount of shoulder season insulation, and won't slip if positioned properly, these knee warmers have minimal durability. After only two rides and before even a single wash, the stitching started unravelling. These are NOT the same as the left-and-right-specific previous version which have stellar online reviews; those resemble the currently-on-sale "GT" leg warmers, which are sturdy and fantastic. I will be looking into how to submit a warranty claim.

OK. Starting to tear and creeps up a bit
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I don't know what it is, but it's hard to find good knee warmers. I tried Pearl Izumi's but those seem to be for people with normal calves and huge thighs. Then I tried another model from Assos but that developed a hole the first time I pulled them over my heel. These are better than that. They do work and keep my old knees warm in cool weather. They do move a bit so a silicone band might be good addition to keep them in place. Also, after having worn them just three times they're developing a stretch mark/rip. I ordered some long bibs and those are a bit easier.

Nice product but poor durability
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Generally i like Asia brand, having owned a number of their products. These knee warmers fit nicely, provide just the right amount of insulation (light), were a good fit. After two road rides, i went to remove them and discovered the stitching on the interior of both was coming unraveled. I am hoping to return these under warranty, but am still awaiting contact from Competitive Cyclist 2 weeks later.
