I am a 70 tour cyclist heading to Patagonia for a 3 month 2200 km tour . I have worn Assos bike shorts for 13 years . I tried the bib shorts 10 years ago and was frustrated with the access for nature breaks - these rear clip UMA GTC bib shorts are great . I now have the comfort and quality of the Assos shorts with all the benefits of bib . I ordered M I am 123lb 5’1 fit perfect legs a tad long fully comfortable and functional

Though I wanted these bibs badly, I tried them on 3 times and sent them back. I purchased the UMA GT C2 half short at the same time and love them.. This GTC bib short bound in the leg and bound in the crotch. Made me pretty sure I would get a rub from the chamois stitching. The bib part cut into my breasts no matter where I put them. I did like the ease of the detachable straps but never put them to use as I just could not wear these. Though the half shorts fit perfect in size small like all my other Assos, I wonder if this pair of short was just badly sized or if a medium might work
