Built with hydrophobic canvas that remains comfortable as it is exposed to water, and breathable mesh to keep your feet ventilated in the summer heat, this shoe is thoughtfully designed for amphibious adventures. Using Astral's Balanced Geometry design, the EVA midsole gives you medium arch support and a leveled heel-to-ball foot bed. Cute & Comfy

These came quickly and I wore them all over Costa Rica. Perfect for waterfalls and beaches. They are true to size and were comfortable.

i love them

These shoes for me are perfect. That's saying a lot --- I have a very high arch, neuromas, I wear zero drop shoes whenever possible due to hip issues, and my feet have just gotten more sensitive over the years (i'm a fit 57 yo). These felt amazing right out of the box. We do a lot of white water rafting, for which I wore Chacos. These were on sale in early 2020, so I purchased. I now wear nothing else --- love the grippiness and comfort. I've done 2 grand canyon trips in them; they provide all the traction you need in those slippery rock waterfall climbs. More recently, on a desert river trip, I used them for the long hikes --- they are fine with or without socks. I use them on the paddle board rather than going barefoot, because they are zero drop and provide sun protection. Our daughter is a canyon guide and wears them -- she was initially disappointed that hers did not hold up as well as she would like. For me, 3.5 years of moderate use, the soles have started to separate a little at the inside ball of the foot, and the seams have fraying threads. I think I can get at least another year out of them, doing about 4 multi-day river trips per year, w/ heavy hiking and weekend paddle boarding. I'm thinking to purchase a pair of Astral hiking shoes --- I went into my Backcountry orders to see what size I bought (I bought an 8, I normally wear a 7.5 in regular shoes, 8 in athletic shoes); decided to right this review now because they're so freaking awesome.
