Why We Like The Backcountry Access Tracker4 Avalanche Beacon
The Backcountry Access Tracker4 Avalanche Beacon has a lot to live up to. It comes, after all, from a long line of beacons that are known for their ease-of-use and simple, no-nonsense design. This iteration upholds those standards, with all the same functions and features as the Tracker3, only now in a beefier, bombproof design. The Tracker4 is built with a rubberized over-molded case that's perfect for us 100-day skiers that are tough on our gear, and it boasts a larger LED display for even easier handling in an emergency.

A MUST Have for the Backcountry
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
If you are even considering venturing into the Backcountry, buy this AND take a AIRIE course! With COVID redefining everything, including the backcountry, knowing before you go is just the first step in participating in the outdoors safely. There is so much beauty and fun to be had, just make sure to prepare yourself. An avalanche beacon is the first step in understanding the backcountry. BCAs beacon *is* the go to here in Colorado and I highly recommend their newest addition.
