FALSE ADVERTISING
It is NOT 84% merino wool, it is 81% as CLEARLY SHOWN ON THE TAGS. THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING. Reached out to support and they said they know the specs are wrong on the product pages (multiple pages), and yet they continue to knowingly sell these customers under this lie. Pretty shady behavior. Extremely frustrating. Will not be buying from this company again. BUYER BEWARE

Nice undergarment for layering
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- Medium
I bought the Top and matching Bottom for my South American trip. I wasn't expecting Colombia to be cold, but in higher elevation it was. There were perfect for I didn't experience any static, itching and smell like my previous undergarments that were made of Polyester. They also tried faster than cotton and polyester. I'm happy with my purchase and I reduced the use of Petroleum.

'24 Cedars not as good as '23 Spruces
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times

I bought this shirt because I really liked the 2023 version (the Spruce line). Both the light weight and mid-weight Spruce line were very nice and are among my favorite base layers among the different brands I have. I would have bought another one of those last year, but they sold out, Unfortunately the 2024 version (Cedars) is very different. It is more tight fitting but tends to ride up with much movement, and has a very annoying tag (which can be clipped off). The various color options this year also leave a lot to be desired. The price point for this shirt, when on sale, is good, and is the reason I did not just return it. The addition of the thumb holes are a nice detail, although are not useful for me. Even after having worn it 20+ times since purchasing it, I still find it annoying every time, which is what prompted this review. Would like to see the Spruce line come back in solid colors suitable for casual wear but could also work under business attire for those cold winter office environments and long walking commutes. I am generally a fan of BackCountry, but this product was disappointing.
