Amazing fabric but weird fit

I am always looking for a good pair of biking and running shorts. The fabric in these is so smooth and comfortable. They are comfy to wear and be active in but they are not remotely flattering. The fabric on the front is baggy and bunches up. It's almost like they built a front butt in to it!!

not quite perfect, but close!

I bought these shorts as part of my quest for the goldilocks of bike shorts... the right inseam, fabric, waistband, pockets... These check most of the boxes. I bought the green and the color is just as shown online, and the fabric is nice - not too compressive, but just enough. Sweat shows up pretty easily, but that'll be the case for anything but black. The fit is true to size. Things I'd suggest for the next version: the pockets in the waistband are a little shallow. I wouldn't put my phone back there because it will definitely fall out. They will hold a gel or key or card though. I know it's subjective, but I'd like a little higher rise. And lastly, the seams on the inseam. They're not flat, which could present some chafing issues at some point. Hasn't happened yet, but I haven't had these on anything longer than about 90 minutes so far. Overall a good short - but I'm still searching.

My go to summer running shorts!

I have been looking for tight biker shorts to run in that were longer and stayed put. These are all of that and more! Super soft material that does not ride up or slip down. Have had zero chafing with these. I live in the south and it's like running on the sun in the summertime. Training for a fall marathon means lots of sweat and trying to stay as cool as possible. I have every color in these shorts and they are all I have worn this summer. My only complaint is the lack of pockets. There is a small one at your back for GU's or your keys, but too small for a phone. Side pockets would be a plus, but that's really all I can say negative. If you need summer running shorts ( also would be great for hiking or biking) get these. They run pretty true to size. I am 5'7 and 150 and wear a medium. If you are between sizes I would day size down.
