Whether we're out for a dawn patrol skin mission for sunrise turns or eating a breakfast burrito while waiting in line for the lifts to start spinning, the Backcountry Down Insulated Jacket lets us play in cold, snowy conditions with just the right amount of warmth. We combined lofty 800-fill power goose down insulation with a burly Pertex Quantum face fabric to lock in heat even in wet conditions and keep our interior dry all day long. Plus, we used recycled materials to help protect the natural playgrounds we love to explore.

Was not as insulated as I need, hard to believe it is 800 fill. I run on the cold side, even when hiking in the backcountry, so having warm gear is essential for me during winter. I ordered a medium so that i could layer underneath and not be constricted, It fit as expected. I did not wear it outside so I can not speak to its warmth factor, but the look of it, the thin feel of it did not exude heat. The outer layer seemed a little flimsy as well. I should have read more thoroughly in description because they do say it is a Mid layer coat. If that is what you are looking for then it is perfect, might even be a 4 or 5 star for you.

Super bulky fit, not what I was looking for. Probably okay for city wear but definitely wouldn’t work for extensive outdoor use. Returned :(
