I typically wear a size L in bottoms. The L in this pant is quite big! I agree with the other reviews that the waist fits normally but that there is an excess of fabric in the crotch and the area between the butt and the waistband. Once I got the correct size they are great - very comfortable, very cute and perfect for what I was looking for. I almost feel as though I could get away with a small but ended up keeping a medium as I was unsure how these will change in size when washed.

I got a medium and the waist is okay, it fits comfortably snug with some extra stretch, no muffin, but the rest of the fit is way too baggy and not flattering. There is a ton of material in the crotch/hips. Almost paper bag style. It looks like there might be a big difference from small to medium based on the fit of the models. If you like the baggy fit with a crop or sports bra style that might work, but if you are looking for more of a straight fit style as it looks in the pictures size down or go with something else. A long straight body might be better than my short curves too. The quality is great. I got them for climbing and they would probably be wonderful for it.
