Heavy /Warm - large enough on me to accommodate a sweater underneath. I really like the silky taffeta-lined sleeves, because my shirt/sweater sleeves slide right in without bunching up. You may be able to size down depending on what you wear underneath - as shown in the picture, the sleeves are very long (and I like that) I bought the Fallen Rock Buffalo
