Material is SUPER soft and it seems reasonable quality. I really like them but I am hemming them - I'm just under 5'1" and ordered the XS and would not be able to wear them without cinching, and even then the pants would probably drag a little. I will also be candid that the waist doesn't have a ton of give, so if you carry your weight in your midriff area the waistband will probably be uncomfortable. Granted, it helps the pant be way more flattering (eliminates a ton of bulky fabric at the top) but it definitely suits a slim / athletic build best. All this said - I love them.

Broke immediately

I'm giving this 2 stars because I do love the pants in that they are comfy and warm BUT after wearing them just a few times I discovered they could scrunch up at the bottom and thought made them even better. Until the scrunch part immediately broke within an hour. NOT worth the price even if they are cozy. I'll be reaching out to Backcountry as well.

Fell apart after two wears

I bought these pants hoping to sport them in the fall/winter as I live in Wyoming. The second time I wore them they broke at the ankle where the clasp tightens the pant. I was super upset because the pants are so baggy and we were walking in the woods. I was tripping all over myself. This is the second backcountry item that I have purchased with really questionable quality for the price. These pants should be like $30.

These pants are soo cozy warm. I wore them in Iceland and they kept me so warm in the wind and cold weather. They are pretty baggy but love the style. Also really love the adjustable waist band and the since draw stings on the legs

Bought this on sale in XS for my 22 yr old daughter who is 5’2” and petite in the tan/pink color. Per her: they are super comfortable and multiple people have commented on how cool they look. Thanks Backcountry!

Clown pants

I am not a large person. The waist was so much smaller than the butt and legs. Looked silly. Fabric seems nice. The cuff drags on the ground . if I pulled the strings they clicked on the floor when I walked and could be a tripping hazard. When it asks about sizing, as I said above, waste runs small, butt and legs run way too large.

If you are petite, these pants will probably be too long. Otherwise they’re amazing. Very stylish wonderful color scheme.
