We built the Backcountry Wolverine Cirque 3/4 Insulated Pant to provide unmatched warmth and comfort to our ski and snowboard kits. The 3/4-length allows us to use over-the-calf socks without layering, avoiding discomfort inside of our boots, while the full-length 2-way zips allow for an easy on and off.

Originally bought a M because I wanted them loose enough to layer and keep me warm under shell snow pants, too big so I ordered my true size small that they fit great. Does the job for an extra layer when it extra cold!

I got these as I was tired of putting on 4 layers of leg base when it it crazy cold. They really provide good warmth, still wear a pair of merino under on single digit days but very happy. Did not experience any of the snap issues mentioned, they do have a slight pooch in the front but not worth deducting a whole star for. Highly recommend.

I love these! I get chilly skiing and these are perfect to wear under my ski pants. They stay out of my boots so don't add bulk and add the perfect amount of warmth. These are my every-day ski base layer!

Warm but zippers and waist uncomfortable

Received Wolverine insulated 3/4 pant as a gift. The side zippers and snap buttons are too large or perhaps exposed to be right next to skin. They dig into my waist/hips when wearing and especially bulky and painful when worn as base layer under ski pant shell. A soft elastic waistband would be more appropriate and comfortable. I wear XS and the size fits well. Even if I went into a Small the zipper tabs and snaps would be too bulky and painful.
