He almost got it
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
But not quite. Got it for a trip in RMNP last summer, first morning I'm woken up by the black bear getting mad that he couldn't get in, pretty entertaining to watch. 5 minutes or so of trying to convince him to give up, I get it back. He got the right idea but he turned it the wrong way. Second night one though it was a chew toy, good scratches, nothing major. My only complaint would be it needs a way to be lashed to a tree, only so I don't have to follow a bear for half a mile to get my food back. I have the 500 version, easily fit food for 2 for 4 nights, it's huge and heavy, it's a decent chair, your food is safe, you might have to find it but it's safe, did I mention that it's huge and heavy? Gotta have it some places, not others, but it's worth it anyways.
