You have to be very careful with these chairs because if use lean forward the legs slip back and you get dumped on your but. I think they?re fine in sand or dirt but can?t trust them in a parking lot or any other slick surfaces. Just trying them out in the living room was enough. First It was me who hit the hardwood floor, then on the camp carpet my girlfriend?s chair does the same to her. Lucky, no one hurt their back and ruined their ski season but it would be soo easy to do. Get a chair you can trust. I like big Agnes but just don?t trust these chairs.
