We've had lots of Big Agnes gear over the years, from tents and chairs to sleeping pads. I've never looked at their sleeping systems before though. King Solomon is hands down the best sleeping solution for a couple that likes to cuddle. This is not a sleeping bag that you'd share with your friends as you'd be sleeping pretty close to each other. You can fit is over a single 40in sleeping pad or two 20-25in pads. The best thing is that it can be easily converted to a camp blanket, or even used as a single sleeping bag/quilt. King Solomon feels warmer than what it's rated for because there will be two of you heating the space inside. Have you ever noticed that mittens are warmer than gloves, even if they have the same thickness? Same effect is applied here. Unlike regular sleeping bags that have down fill all the way around you, King Solomon is more like a quilt with a hood and a sheet that wraps around your sleeping pads. You'd want to invest in a warm sleeping pad. We got Big Agnes Rapide SL Double Wide and it fits perfectly.
