Headlamp 800 Pro
The light is really nice and bright and the wide setting is great, but it sits a bit awkwardly on my head and the light doesn't tilt down super well making it hard to angle the light at the ground so you can see where you're stepping.

Great headlamp with major design flaw
I am on my 5th Biolite 800 in the past 5 years for ultra running. I love the usage time, weight, and the way it fits. This headlamp has a fatal flaw, though, that I’ve reported to the company many times. It seems as though it hasn’t been addressed. Every single one I have has snapped the bottom clips on the back of the battery attachment. My quick fix has been super glue, but that doesn’t last for long, and it’s quite frustrating when it goes in the middle of a dark forest. Please, Biolite, fix these clips, and it would be the perfect headlamp!

Great HeadLamp
I run and/or hike each morning in the dark with this headlamp and I absolutely love the brightness and how comfortable it is to wear.

Can't live without one!
I received one of these for my birthday a few years ago and absolutely love it! Don't know how I ever got along without it. I have a small farm in Northern Minnesota and have used it for everything from repairing fence to shoveling snow. It also comes in handy when looking through boxes in a storage unit.

Headlamp that lasts
This headlamp is bright, but adjustable. It works for hours. Have used it for art projects for clipping my dog for knitting for camping and around the house when the lights went out. I liked it so much. I got another one for my husband.

Impressive but outdated and fragile.
Initially, I was a big fan of the Biotite Headlamp 800 Pro due to its impressive brightness and comfortable fit. However, my enthusiasm quickly faded when I discovered it still uses a micro-USB port instead of the more modern USB-C. A major disappointment came when I accidentally dropped the headlamp. The rear lamp side cracked, and one of the rear band holder pieces broke. This initial damage caused an imbalance, leading to the quick failure of the remaining prongs holding the band. As a result, the headlamp has become difficult to use, and there’s no effective fix for the broken plastic back where the battery is located. Overall, while the headlamp’s performance is commendable, its durability and outdated charging port leave much to be desired.
