With plenty of stretch, breathability, and mobility, the Bjorn Daehlie Kikut Full-Zip Pant gets us outside to our favorite groomed trails and off-trail XC ski routes. The softshell fabric and elastic panels let us move freely and dump excess heat and moisture while the durable water repellent and TPU membrane keep us snow-proof, slush-proof, and ice-proof. The full-zip makes it easy to get in and out of our pants and to open up some ventilation when our winter cardio generates too much heat.

So Close or Perfect Depending on Needs

I just tried these on. I’m looking for a full zip soft shell for light ski touring and weather resistant layer for mountaineering. Some of the things I don’t like about the soft shell pants on the market are they are fairly heavy, a bit too warm for the up, and don’t have full side zips. These pants look perfect to throw over a layer, or by them selves for just about any outdoor pursuit. BUT, though they have two zippers on the side zips, one at the top, one at the bottom, they do not have a button or Velcro top or bottom to hold pants together should you open up side zips during activity. Pants are comfy. Zips feel nice. I want to love these. But I’d need to buttons or Velcro’s on zips so I can open up and vent without pant falling off or flapping about. So close… These will be great for anyone who just needs to thrown on or take off quickly over a later. But not sure about venting.
