Lightweight gaiter for summer
This gaiter is too light for winter in NH - it feels like a thin t-shirt. Works well for summer if there's no need for warmth or wind protection.

My wife and I wore these when we climbed Pico de Orizaba and sure enough we avoided all pant tears from our crampons and they also helped keep my wifes legs warmer and protected from the wind and ice.
