The best
You might think that you would want adjustable poles for running or hiking, but once you've tried these, I predict you'll never go back. I bought mine for ultra-running and I'm on my second pair after I lost a pole while bushwhacking down a cliff. I've hiked and run over 2000 miles with them. They are one of the best products I've ever purchased. I don't mean the best running poles or the best outdoor product, I mean the best product, period. The design is flawless; light, simple, strong, comfortable. The folding mechanism looks unusual but turns out to be brilliant; unlike other poles, they never, ever slip or get wobbly. The tips have taken an astounding amount of abuse without showing signs of wear. My only regret is that I've had the poles for several years and in the interim, BD changed the way the straps attach to the hand grip so I can't replace my old straps, which are wearing thin.

The best trail running poles out there

Great poles for any hiking adventure!
I used these poles for two multi day hikes in Scotland and Iceland and they were fantastic. They fold down to perfectly to fit in carry on luggage and are extremely light weight on the trail. They also have a nice extension feature to use when going downhill.

Awesome running poles
I bought these for an ultra race and absolutely love them so far. They unfold and snap in place very fast, are so light I don't even feel them on my back, and feel sturdy on tough uphills. So happy with this purchase!

Great poles
I originally bought these for walking steep uphill segments, but lately I have been rehabbing a rolled ankle and using them for running as well. These poles are awesome, they weigh nothing and feel sturdy. Folding and unfolding them is easy, I appreciate the larger release button compared to the previous version. I have two minor suggestions: 1) the straps are excellent, but every now and then I use them without the straps. In this situation, I wish the little shelf where your pinky rests were bigger. With sweaty hands it is hard to stay on the grip. 2) i appreciate the option of the rubber tips, i prefer these in most situations except ice. but I can't seem to unscrew the metal tips.

Light trekking poles. Excellent
Poles are great for long trail hike and solid snow and dirt off trail. Do not use in deep snow. I broke my last pair in that way. Not for skiings or snowshoeing.

Love 'em
Great poles. They are very well designed, yet simple and straightforward making them easy to use. Very efficient breakdown and setup, easy to stow on my vest. Super light, strong. Makes a huge difference for the long trail runs I've used them on - mainly ascending. Would highly recommend.

Light as feathers but mighty strong
This poles are awesome, they are so light you can forget you even have them with you. Easy to deploy and secure in place. The tip is very functional for trail running and grips feel good so far.
