Why We Like The Forged Denim Pant
We pull on Black Diamond's Forged Jean and take it to the rock where it thrives. The V11 Fit sits close, keeping our view to our toes clear while still having give to let us stem and drop knee freely. The three-piece, anti-slack waistband won't stretch out even after multiple days on the wall.

Great pants
I am 5’ 8” and weight 150 pounds the pants fit great on me. The waist is lose (I have a 28”waist. I also use an arcade belt but isn’t needed even when climbing they don’t fall down. ) but length is good (30” inseam for me) and everywhere else is a good fit. I have been using them for multipitch climbing but afterwards I have been getting complaints on them.

Shamefully misogynistic bad product
It’s actually hard to imagine a more poorly designed and constructed product. As a stand alone item, these jeans are terrible; from an ultra low rise (the zip is <5 cm), impossibly skinny fit through the hips and legs, to the shoddy sewing and low quality pocket linings—they’re just really, really bad. What adds insult to injury and makes the utter existence of this product not just a disappointment, but actively infuriating, is that they’ve been given the same name, price and list of features as the men’s forged jeans, which ARE actually very well designed and constructed. That black diamond considers it okay to suggest that these products are comparable or equivalent tells me how little they value women and afab people as climbers. The men’s product has a seam allowance for tailoring on the outer leg seam, and reinforced inner leg seams. The women’s product has no seam allowance or reinforcement, only overlocker seams. Men get a long fly/rise even by men’s jeans standards, the back pockets are fully lined and *actually* feature an integrated brush pocket, where the “integrated brush pocket” for the women’s product just means “we blocked off a back pocket so now it fits nothing, AND you can’t even fit a brush in the “brush pocket”. Even the lining fabric on the front pockets is better quality fabric than the lining on the women’s pockets, and of course men get 5 functional pockets (six if you include the brush pocket). The coin pocket on the men’s jeans is bigger than the front pockets on the women’s product. On top of all that, the quality of the workmanship is vastly different between the two, with men getting a well finished product with straight seams, and women getting bunched, wonky seams (and in case anyone is thinking I might have received a faulty product, I ordered two pairs of each for me, my partner and a friend, so I think that’s a decent sample to make a comparison). That there are supposedly nearly 100 reviews of these jeans that are glowing (whilst nonspecific in detail) makes me HIGHLY skeptical of theses reviews, either these women have VASTLY different expectations from climbing jeans to *literally every afab climber I’ve ever spoken to* or something fishy is going on.

Exactly what you would expect!
These jeans are just what the description says. They came comfortable and I can get a high leg while climbing without worrying about them tearing.

Love the fit!
These jeans fit super well and they look like regular skinny jeans rather than for climbing. I now want them in all the other colors too.

Really comfortable
Denim is super stretchy and comfy yet really durable. These are also really stylish. Only real note is I had to size up as they are on the slimmer size.

Right!
These jeans work - all the time, no matter what the day brings. Approach, get after it, and post climb and such. Hold up well, don't bag out. My go to.

Perfect
I have these in 2 colors and want to get more! Perfect fit, waist isn't too high for my petite 5'3" frame and the fit is perfect for my big quads and butt.
