Why We Like The Black Diamond HotForge Hybrid Quickdraw Quickpack
Black Diamond's collection of quickdraws consists of draws with solid-gated or wire-gated carabiners, but the HotForge Hybrid Quickdraw is the only draw designed with solid and wire gates, and this Quickpack includes a set of six. The rope-clipping side is styled bright and colorful to act as a visual indicator that comes in handy when we're cruxing out and desperately searching for a solid clipping stance. The stiff, burly dogbone is easy to grab so you can take and suss out moves, and a StraitJacket stabilizes the rope-clipping carabiner for even easier clipping.

Solid
These are my go to sport climbing draws. I love the barrel gate on top and the wire gate for the rope. I find myself reaching for these first on my harness every sport lead.

Best Draws!
Great draws. Look pretty sweet hanging from the harness, and the wall. Something about the fine fit and finish gives confidence in the construction, and their purpose. I bought three sets.

Fast, quality, steez

Smooth and reliable
Gates open smooth and the pink stands out on all kinds of rock. Ideal for sport routes, and opens smoothly. The only drawback is the lacking groove on the solid gate, which would make for an even smoother clip, although other brands make this for a higher price point.

Legendary quickdraws
After a couple of seasons of dealing with a competitions brands QuickDraws I finally had to throw the rag in and buy a set of BD hot forge QuickDraws. I’m so glad I did! These are an absolute stellar set with amazing build quality and attention to detail. I’m pretty picky when it comes to climbing gear as I rest my life in its effectiveness. I am confident every time I get to use this on a pitch! Thank you for such a great product Black Diamond!

Best Christmas Present
The grandson is an avid rock climber, and his dad suggested the HotForge Hubrid Quickdeaw as a good present for under the family tree. When he opened the package, a big smile was seen and he said, "boy will these come in handy on my next outdoor adventure". Just what the young man needed.
