Momentum Harness
The kids' version of the Momentum has the same features that Black Diamond's adult harnesses have. Its Dual Core construction separates a single strand of webbing to ridge above and below hipbones for a secure fit without much weight, and OpenAir foam cushions the waist with breathable comfort. The self-locking Speed Adjust waist buckle tightens in a cinch while the adjustable leg loops keep it snug—and it even has gear loops so your young crusher can keep track of their mini-rack.

I have three of these,
I have three of these, for my daughters age 5, 7, and 9. Fits well, simple, does the job, and lightweight. What more could you ask for?

Easy to use
The harness was easy to use on multiple of my kids given its one-size design. It fits my 6 year old up to my 11 year old. The harness is comfortable and not too expensive.

Toddler size!

This harness is great. It's comfortable, functional, gear loops are accessible. But please note that this harness is for toddlers. My 50lb, average-sized 6-year-old barely fits in it.

Great Kids Harness
Harness fits well for my 1st grader and 2nd grader. Both are about 45-55lbs. Similar to clothes, this will likely be outgrown in a year or two. We switched a little late from the full body harness, so I think we’ll get a little less use out of these before we need to transition up. Ultimately, our kids love them… and love that they now match the adults.

SMALL! Listed measurements not accurate
Bought this for my 11 yo daughter. I measured her prior to buying. She has a 25" waist and 16" thighs so should fit this harness really well based on the measurements listed. The legs were tight and the waist barely fit with no room left for adjustment. We tried it on my 6 year old (he's tall for his age and skinny but didn't get his measurements) and it fit him pretty perfectly. We ended up getting a womens XS momentum harness for my daughter. It fit well cinched all the way down so she has a lot of room to grow in that one.

Perfect for a 5 year old
My 5 year old niece fits perfectly into this and it feels secure for her. We do check every climb and occasionally re-tighten it for her. But she has a great time with it, and will for a long time! She is already not at its smallest settings, but has a ton of room to keep growing, still!

What is the range of adjustment on the waist strap? Trying to get an idea of how long this harness will last for a 7 year old before needing to upgrade.
