Why We Like The Momentum Lace Climbing Shoe
If the Black Diamond Momentum Hook-and-Loop is perfect for beginners, then we believe that the Momentum Lace Climbing Shoe is the next step. Although it still boasts the same comfortable, flat last with neutral asymmetry as the hook-and-loop version, the Momentum Lace features a stiffer flex and a tighter fit to give you slightly more precision. This shoe best serves climbers who have a smarter technical prowess than most beginners, but not the strength necessary for overhung climbs yet.

Perfect all around shoe
I bought these for my dad for Christmas and we are thrilled! They are the perfect fit, the quality is excellent, and they’re the perfect shoe to introduce him to climbing.

Climbing shoes
I’ve been struggling with climbing shoes for years, as I often get blisters on my toes. These are the first pair that I don’t have to tape 6/10 toes for protection and I’m in love!

So glad I got climbing shoes!!!
I loved climbing with these. Compared to street shoes they make a HUGE difference. I like the color scheme, and the two loops on the heel are great for putting on the shoes and taking them off. As a size 10-11 Asics street shoe, the size 11 was a little too large.

Fantastic, immediately comfortable
Bought these in men's 9.5 for cracks and chill climbs. First time using them was an entire day on sandstone, toes didn't hurt, snug where it needed to be, grippy. Wear men's 10 in running shoes for those looking for help w shoe sizing.

Shoes
Fit well. sized up to 13.5 from 13 street shoes due to square toe box on my foot. Comfortable, snug. Cheap for good quality!

Good shoes - sized more like street shoes
I got these shoes for comfy all- day shoes. I like them, but theybare tighter than i was expecting. It seems like BD sizing is closer to street shoe sizing than other brands I've tried. Ive usually gotten climbing shoes a size or two smaller than my street shoes but in BDs Im learning to size closer (or for comfy shoes even equal) to my street shoe size.

Very good climbing shoe!
The laces do a very good job of forming the shoe around your foot and the rubber on the shoe sticks to anything, making it easy to stay on the wall. This is the first climbing shoe that i have tried and i am very pleased with it!
