Why We Like The Black Diamond Neve Pro Crampons
We rely on the redesigned Black Diamond Neve Pro Crampons for solid traction on ski approaches or travel on snow-covered glaciers. Even though they're not designed for ice climbing, they still clip into our ice, tele, or AT boots for secure footing when we need to travel on steep, hard-packed snow. And at only 13.9oz, we hardly notice these in our pack as we're working our way up to the technical part of the ascent.

Very light, very packable
Great crampons, super lightweight. The updated lock for the heel is easy to use compared to older models. And they look really sweet.

Neve crampons
Super light. Unfortunately, doesn't fit/work well with 2 of the 3 boots I use other crampons with. Best to try them out in-person with boots you intend to use them with. While all the accessories do, indeed, broaden the crampons' ability to work with different boots, it feels like Black Diamond is nickle-and-diming us for some basic flexibility that is built in to other crampons (different size cables, toe harness, heel straps, bails)... and these extras are pricey!

These are a great fit for both my duckbill telemark boots as well as my summit pro AT setup. Easy on/easy off. I can't compare them to other models, but I was absolutely amazed at how light, agile, efficient, and dependable a boot crampon could be.

Perfect fit
I bought the Neve crampon for my Tecnica Cochise touring ski boots, and they fit perfect and are exactly what I was looking for ski mountaineering. Ultra light, and durable. The capable connector is flexible but holds up to repeated bending. The heal level has adjustability that helps dial in a precise and tight fit. Excellent product, thank you BD!

They'll keep you on the mountainside
Good choice if bumping between different boots. These do exactly what you want once setup properly. If I bought again for my purpose I would go with the pros.

Doesn't fit ski mountaineering boots
Should you need lightweight skimo crampons, consider that included toe bail doesn't give a snug fit to ski boots. Wide toe bail could do the work; however, it is not available anywhere globally...
