I've worn these pants for climbing, hiking, and traveling, and I love them! They are very comfy, look nice, wash up well, and seem durable so far. I would totally buy these in another color. My only complaint is that the fabric at the crotch kind of bunches up in my harness and it was a bit uncomfortable for the first few wears, but not a dealbreaker.

Ultimate comfort

I first discovered these pants last year and now I own them in 4 different colours. They are so comfortable. They are the perfect fall/spring hiking pants. We live in New Brunswick where the winters can be pretty brutal, but just took a pair of thermals on underneath and even winter they have been fantastic. I love them so much that my partner had to spend a long time convincing me that the black pair did not count as formal attire to wear to a wedding.

Larger than before

Still as comfortable as ever! However the small now fits like a medium, very baggy on me at 140lbs 5’4”. I should have ordered XS. I’m also missing the right rear pocket they had before. Still the comfiest and most durable pant I own.

Much preferred the old style

I have had probably a dozen pairs of notion pants, love how they move and feel. The new styling is not my fave. waist band too thick, pulls across hips. sad day for me.

My boss asked me where to get these pants!

This is my second pair, and I think I like these better than the last model; the cuff is tighter & feels better. They are comfy enough for a night at home, but nice enough to wear to the office. Great pants. Even my boss asked where she could get some.

Slight defect otherwise awesome

I would have given five stars except the pockets on the right side, regular pocket and thigh pocket, are sewn together in a weird way which limits the usefulness of the thigh pocket cause the sewn seam cuts across both layers of the pocket space. I assume the sewn bit was meant to be on the edge of the thigh pocket seam and I got a defective pair. Anyway it’s annoying but not bad enough to return them, since they are otherwise very comfortable and nice. I am high waisted so for me they sit just over my hip bones, well below my actual waist. I am 5’7”, 155lbs, very muscular/athletic. The medium feels comfortably loose, almost but not quite baggy. I fine overall BD clothing to be sized larger than other brands, I have learned to drop a size when ordering here.

Really comfy pants!!

I was hesitant about these pants initially, as they did not have colours that immediately appealed to me. However, my husband assured that me that they were great, as he owned four of the men's notion pants himself and had a close female friend who swore by these pants. I am happy to have my doubts cast away! These are some of the most comfy pants I now own! They are durable, with a nice cinch at the bottom of the pant legs, and are cute! I find to be versatile and can be worn at home and various venues. They are also my warmest outdoor pants, keeping me cozy during my recent trip to Fairbanks and Denali in Alaska! I can't wait to purchase more colours when I find some that I like!

Must have

I love this pants so much. They are super comfy, stretchy, they protect you because the material used is good quality. I am so glad that I got them. If you take measurements and your measures are at the top limit, don’t be afraid of getting that size, it will be the correct one

Now with a twist

I have been buying the same model since 2018, and black diamond keeps adding little tweaks to it. I buy online without trying them on cause i know they fit. However this time the change was in the crotch area of the pants and now they look less favorably. I took off all the labels as I didn’t expect it, so can’t return. Pants are still comfortable and fit me well, just the look isn’t necessarily the best one this time. Oh well, will know better in the future.

Great pants, don’t last long

I loved these pants at first - great for climbing and daily wear. Not my favourite for hiking as they aren’t very breathable. I have 2 pairs, both size large (I’m 5”10 and 190-195lbs) and the inner upper thigh wore out quite quickly being only one layer of fabric and myself being not a small person with thighs that rub together.
