too long & baggy in a bad way

The pants are too long and baggy in a weird, unflattering way. The material seems comfy and resistant to abrasion, though. BD needs to work on the fit of these pants before they'll be wear-worthy for me.

Love these pants
Durable, comfortable, good stretch. I think these are my new favorite outdoor climbing pants.

Baggy
These are huge, I am sure they are supposed to be baggy, but they aren't in a good way. I returned them.

excelent pants!

Got XS size, fits very well. I'm 5ft4in, floor to belly button 3ft3in. The pants sits right below my belly button and reaches my akles. Fabric feels soft and seems resistant, enough room around the leg and hips to allow full leg movement. I recommend it!

Super confortable
Hyper confo! Assez habillé pour le social, sans être un pyjama.

While I do climb, I actually bought these pants with wildlife/nature photography in mind. I was looking for a cotton, relaxed-fit pant with proper pockets for use in the desert during spring when temps are generally mild (lows in the 40s, highs in the 70s). I wanted a pant that'd be suitable for hiking, kneeling, and crouching--all while protecting my skin and holding their own against rocks, vegetation, etc. I thought pants designed for climbing would be perfect in this regard, and while they do indeed fit the bill, they're just not going to last over multiple seasons. Consistent with other negative reviews I read, my pants are already showing signs of wear (bought Feb 2024), and I don't even climb in them! There are some pulled threads/tufts, the stitching has come undone on my back pocket, and the fabric looks generally distressed. I can't imagine how these pants would hold up as a climbing pant, and I'd be truly livid if I bought them at full price ($95). That said, I bought mine for 30-something dollars on sale, and at that price point, they're solid. Lastly, for anyone who's interested in buying these pants specifically for climbing, do note that they have plenty of movement but are still generally more restrictive than other options out there.

I like these pants, but
I like these pants, but the design in the last few years to make the butt extra roomy does not work for me. Even an XS is loose. I wish they’d make these pants more fitted in the rear like they did several years ago. Those were perfect!

Do you enjoy going into a climbing excursion feeling like the love child of an African Rhino and Alex Honnold? Then these are the pants for you! Bought them about a month ago for outdoor (and indoor) climbing. Very impressed with how they have held up against friction/abuse from my harness, the walls, and rock faces! Only downside is the swamp-effect and chafing in warmer temps/humidity - unless of course you enjoy a raw chicken look at your waist and thighs...sure had me wishing for a little more ventilation (even in the Spring). Thankfully, the elastic bottoms allowed for some creative rolling or moonshining wouldn't have been the only thing going down in the KY heat! If you are looking for a great pair of pants overall (when used in early mornings and cooler temps*), Add to Cart.
