Its uniform, symmetrical shape has a large carrying capacity for loads of stoppers, slings, and more. These are Black Diamond's only oval carabiners to come with a snag-free keylock nose. It's kind of like an "old meets new" thing.

No Fuss Ovals
Straight to the point. Lightweight and good size. Even if you don't have a specific need/use for these (i.e. I bought these specifically to organize and hold my stoppers/nuts), these come in handy in so many ways.

You can not get any better than the best! Use these things for pretty much everything in my aid setup. Their size is perfect and are true ovals, unlike some other brands. Used in the right setting and for the right purpose, I would not use anything else. I wish BD still sold their wire gate ovals, but these new key lock solid gates were a pleasant surprise. Just bought another pack!
