Really Disappointing Knee Pocket Zippers
Both zippers failed on the first pair I got and they eventually sent me a new pair with a different zipper only on the right leg (which is weird). This new zipper lasted one season but the first time I touched it in the second season it self destructed like the first pair did. I am just super disappointed with this failure since I trust my life to BD gear on a regular basis. Now I find myself looking at my draws and hoping they don't have the same people putting them together. . .

Perfect fit
I’m 5’7 155lbs 30” inseam and the small fits perfect. Most bibs the shoulder straps won’t synch down all the way but these do perfectly and with room to spare. These have the right amount of stretch in all the right places and the side vents are plenty big enough so you won’t over heat on long treks

Bomber
Best bibs, hands down. Perfect amount of stretch and right amount of storage as well. Nailed it

Bibs - 5 star - Kick Guard - 0 Star
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- L
- Height:
- 5' 11"
- Weight:
- 195
Love these bibs but man, the kick guard area is just shredded after 8 days... To the touch it seems like a solid heavier weight panel, but compared to two tears after 10 years in my previous ski pants I'm guessing the fabric may not really be a kevlar type panel. Not about to change how I ski, so I guess I'll have to add a proper patch... great fit on the large - 5-11, 195lbs - plenty of room for a layer and the stretch fabric is outstanding.

Great bibs.
Really nice soft shell bibs. Spot for a ‘beacon’ in the right thigh pocket that comes with a removable tether. Chest pockets are nice with an internal pocket on the left side. (It would be nice to have them in every pocket) I might have gone down a size knowing now how the overalls sag a bit but they actually fit very nice.

Good product
The product is very well made. It looks very durable, the closures are good. For my part, I took a size Large, I'm 1m83 in terms of leg length it corresponds but in terms of waist size it's a little too big for me

Real well made
I was kind of bummed by the plastic holder but the ajustment is real nice and they are really comfortable. The pockets are also well placed.

In between sizes
Im in between L and XL… XL bib has enough maneuverability to shorten it up, or fit taller people. Super warm. Durable and flexible. Plenty of access and to under layers and deep chest pockets. It’ll get some good mountain time tomorrow and the next couple days to follow… So far, everything you’d expect with the quality and dependability of Black Diamond

Recon Pro Bibs - The Bomb
I have been disappointed by the quality of some gear lately, but not what I'm getting from Black Diamond. Their gear, and especially the Recon Stretch Pro Bibs, feel like I'm wearing something designed and fabricated for climbing Everest.

Fits better than the non pro version
The recon stretch PRO medium fits me perfect. The regular (non pro) recon stretch in medium is noticeably smaller for some reason, and was too snug in the chest. This is perfect. I’m 5’10 170 lbs
