Engineered with 60g PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation Eco, this mid-layer provides exceptional warmth without excess bulk, making it perfect for layering in any season. The weather-resistant shell, crafted from recycled micro-ripstop nylon, pairs with a PFC-free DWR finish to fend off unexpected drizzles and gusty winds. And when it’s time to shed a layer, the Solution stuffs neatly into its own pocket, complete with a clip loop for easy carry on our pack.

All around performer
I've been loving the Solutiom jacket. It fits well, looks good around town and performs when needed as well as any synthetic insulation. The flannel pocket liners are a seriously pleasant touch!

Great jacket
Excellent fit and versatility for a light jacket or mid layer. Looks good enough to wear to the office or out on adventures. Super packable and doesn’t wrinkle. Love it.

Better than a NanoPuff
I bought this to replace my Patagonia NanoPuff and like it better. It seems equally warm, if not warmer, and the fit is better. The cuffs are the best I've ever seen.

BD nailed it
Exceptional warmth to weight; cut well for layering with quality synching for a refined fit. I particularly like the tall collar without a hood for layering under outerwear - is t amazes me that companies often default to the idea of numerous hoods on all layers, so this one is terrific when I need to have my outerwear hood over my helmet. Only criticism, albeit small, is that a bit more fleece in the front of the standup collar around the chin and cheeks would be welcome. Highly recommended.

Have had multiple first light
Have had multiple first light hoodies but for years have been looking for something similar without a hood that was able to be worn in less tactical situations. This has been great for morning and night dog walks in the NE fall and also looks sharp enough to wear to the office.

Not what it used to be
I returned it. Had the previous version and it was the best (light) jacket I ever owned. I was so disappointed when I got this one. They trimmed the quality on this one but not the price. No longer down (feather) so it’s not as comfy. No longer micro fleece lined collar. Also- returns suck at BD. No easy access to return label. Paid for shipping both ways. Easy returns should be table stakes for any e-comm site.
