Great base layer

Fits true to size - bought a large and I typically wear a large. Very warm for its weight.

Between sun hoodies and waffle fleeces like the paradigmatic R1, I (and probably all of us high-output athletes) have a quiver of base-to-mid weight, slim-fit hoodies. I gave into the temptation to add this new article because it was wool, thinner, had the quarter zip, and the all-black is passable as a foundation piece for more urban activities, like beers on a patio on a fall evening or whatever. So far it has performed as expected--both on trails and on patios. It's my only top garment on runs between 25 and 40 degrees fahrenheit. If you are wearing a running vest or maybe a Cirque-series ski pack, you can operate in even colder temps with this piece alone. Medium fits great for me (6'1", 165 lbs).

Nice baselayer

Bought to use in winter while back country touring, I like the length as it stays tucked in , light weight material, only thing that prevents it from5 stars is the hood is fairly loose and not a true "scuba " style that zips up tight to the chin

Perfect !

Just perfect mid base layer. Hood is just super useful under helmets. Mountaineering or skiing. For both this top is just perfect. Overall good fit. Just arms are little bit narrow. But still better to go with usual size.

Warm and light

This is perfect for hiking! Adds warmth without the weight. Will be using to hike the Dolomites!

Comfy and fits perfect

I have both colors of this baselayer. Living in NH it can be worn year round either as a first layer or as the only layer when it gets warmer. The hood is perfect for under a helmet when snowboarding. The zipper goes pretty low for days when the sun comes out. Recommend the hooded version over the non hooded.

Soft, light and warm. I love the baselayer so much more than the black diamond alpenglow sun hoodie that I bought. It feels more premium, I didn't have any loose threads and it the fit is great. Kept me warm and didn't make me sweat. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a new baselayer.

The Solution 150 (with hood) has to be my favorite base layer so far! Hiking the AT on a cold day I can wear this all day and night, minimal odor, keeps me warm and wicked. And I like the way the green looks!! Best piece of gear I've picked up this year
