I'm happy with this purchase - however it took a few mins to figure out how to add batteries!

Bright and cheap

Can’t go wrong with a classic. Needed an additional spare as all my old ones seem to eventually break at either the battery clip or the clip that allows you to aim the light.

Terrible for everyday use

I have a need for a headlamp every day. I do farm chores in the dark and wear a headlamp for hours every day. After my Petzl Tikka R wore out its headband, I wore cheapo triple-A battery headlamps from the hardware store and asked my dad for a nice rechargable headlamp for Christmas last year. He got me this and I've been suffering through using it for a year. I was initially excited - it's lightweight and I love the dual-fuel feature. I charged up the battery and started using it. I like the way you can change the brightness and flood vs. spotlight and it remembers where you left it when you turn it off and back on. But there are a few features on this headlamp that are just terrible and at this day and age should just not be an issue. 1. ) It's incredibly uncomfortable to wear for any longer than a few minutes. There is no padding and the bottom plastic edge of the headlamp digs into my forehead 2. ) The brightening feature is touch-activated and just simply accidently brushing your hand on it turns it on or off. Additionally, it reacts to moisture which is no bueno in the rain. Even my raincoat hood activates it. 3. ) The battery life is terrible for every day use. It simply doesn't last. I'm constantly wearing it down to low power and straining to see because it goes into reserve, and eventually just cuts off completely. Maybe this headlamp would be ok to live in the bottom of my pack as an emergency backup with fresh batteries, but honestly even then I would second guess having to rely on it. Super disappointed and I will be going back to Petzl 100%

Solid head lamp.

Great for early mornings on the skin track and light weight enough to not be an issue. Feels sturdy enough to last for years upon years.

Awesome headlamp for kids who are ready for a solid option for camping and hiking outside.

great little companion

smaller than my expectation bit the features are well thought out. easy to fiddle with and enough power for most outdoor needs. the choice between battery types is nice.

I bought the headlamp for my daughter who works at a hound rescue place. I’ve never given her anything that she appreciated more. She was amazed at the intensity of the lamp and repeatedly thanked me for it.

Bright, compact and tough

This little light packs a punch when needed, and the red light and dim light mode are perfect for night time activities. Have submerged it multiple times in saltwater and no problem.

it seems like a great headlamp, so far. anxious to give her a better try.

The wait was worth it

I wanted to buy this headlamp several years ago but it was sold out. Finally got to purchase this and absolutely love it. The red light feature is great for in camp and 2 bright white options give out plenty of light when needed. It's not too heavy or bulky to throw in the pack and have that extra security when you really need to see in the dark.
