Great helmet, I have the half dome from black diamond and this is just that one step better comfortability wise. Great for long days or multi pitches!!

Best gift ever!

The person I gave this to is an avid climber, and regularly spends many hot afternoons in the sun. The helmet itself is so lightweight, it’s an absolute blessing. My only note/request would be to make it available in more colors if possible!

Incredible! I run hot. Really hot. Even though the sun was on us all day I did not feel heat even with a black colored helmet on the via ferrata in Ouray, CO. The vent locations were certainly placed with the user in mind, protecting from rocks while maintaining maximum breathability. Very comfortable and never got in the way as we experienced slight over hangs or awkward holds/ clipping locations. The adjustability is unparalleled. You can adjust at the back of your head much like BOA but instead there are sliders. And then of course the chin strap. The helmet stayed in place as I would look down or up the wall and did not block visibility. FYI I wore a head band underneath and felt no pressure points. I just did not want to sweat up the helmet.

Super light and safe helmet

Just got back from climbing a few mountains in the Cordillera Blanca of Peru and got a chance to put the Vision Helmet to the test. Great fit and super lightweight. It has adjustment points for when you have a bennie on or when you don't so you get a good fit every time. Highly recommend! I would travel with it in your carry-on so it doesn't get damaged.

Mixed feelings

Functionality wise, it's a 10...amazing. Very light, super comfortable fit great looks. There are 2 noticable downsides. 1) It is incredibly fragile, after 4 days of use (while trying to take good care of it, so....not hard use) it has multiple scratches and blemishes, and maybe a small dent or 2. Nothing that impact performance, but still... 2) The opening/closing/tightening mechanism is a tad finicky. When it works, it's great, but sometimes the left side will stick a bit before ratcheting down. Other than this, it's a really nice helmet! Overall, I would recommend

Uncomfortable helmet with pokey bits

Bought the vision-mips helmet in size s/m to replace my beloved ice blue vapor helmet. It was ok initially but after 1-2 wears the plastic mips layer shifts and wants to create this fold that pokes right into my temple. No fun to be on a multipitch wondering why you have a splitting headache, only to realize it’s your helmet, and then you have to futz around with it. It also feels loose on my head because of the shifting plastic and is uncomfortable for long wears, even without the weird fold. I’m planning on replacing it
