Why We Like The Blizzard Zero G 95 Ski
Many a ski has claimed uphill and downhill performance but we have found that few skis follow through on that promise like the Blizzard Zero G 95 Ski. This ski comes at a weight that leaves our legs feeling fresh at the top of the skin track, while still offering enough mass and stability to ensure we can ski hard through variable snow on the way down. This combination is made possible by the Carbon Drive Technology that uses both a 3D unidirectional carbon fiber frame and a unique TrueBlend paulownia and poplar wood core to save weight and to guarantee fluid flex and torsional rigidity when we lay them on edge.
The versatile, midfat 95mm waist will carve down corn, hold an edge on bulletproof ice, and still float when there's some freshies to be had. Rocker in the tip and tail help with float, while a generous dose of camber underfoot inspires confidence in variable conditions. Like all Blizzard skis, the Zero G's maintain a durable and stable sandwich sidewall construction, which boasts some of the best binding retention ratings in the industry.

Super Light!
I am on the East Coast, so we don’t have the biggest mountains, but I still find myself skinning up multiple times per day without getting tired too much. I did not have the chance to use them in deep powder yet, but I have seen quite a lot of snow in the glades and felt like I had a lot of support and float. On the groomers I had more problem than with my frontside skis, but I assume its because of the larger width and the more important rockers I am not used to have. Yet, I was surprised by their stiffness and the speed I could reach comfortably knowing they are not made for this type of skiing.
