Good product. Awful packaging.
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Like everything bluewater makes, this product does the job, but finds a way to Inconvenience the user unnecessarily. The webbing itself is fine, maybe even above average. The issue is that the webbing comes rolled and is held together with extremely poor quality tape that is difficult to remove in one piece and leaves a really nasty/sticky residue on each end of the webbing (this affects about a foot on one end and a few inches on the other). The adhesive can come off in chunks in your hand and the webbing will remain very sticky (making it difficult to knot, etc). Warm water and mild soap got most of it off with some work. I'll give bluewater the benefit of the doubt and say that heat/ humidity probably compromised the adhesive in transit (I can't imagine they would knowingly ship a product like that), but there are much better ways to package webbing regardless. Also, why isn't it hot cut????
