Why We Like The APEX Pedal Drive + Rudder Kit
Just because paddling our boat is our favorite arm workout doesn't mean we want to expend our energy when we could be relaxing on the lake. With the APEX Pedal Drive, our arms, abs, and chest can rest while we propel the boat forward hands-free. The Pedal Drive and Rudder Kit lets us direct our BOTE vessel in any direction—forward, backward, and directly to our favorite beach. Our feet stay comfortable pedaling on the spacious platforms, and the spring-loaded rudder kicks up to prevent damage while on the move.

So far, so good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to put the kayak together easily as well as the peddle drive. The kayak is well made and the peddle drive looks like it works well. I have not been able to put it into the water though because it’s January, lol. I’ll put it into the water this spring.

Apex Pedal Drive
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great addition! The versatility of the pedal drive is amazing! I can choose to paddle, kayak or relax and pedal! Came in handy if needing to get back in a hurry. We were definitely moving against the current!

APEX makes a World of Difference!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Apex Pedal System was the icing on the cake for me. Having multiple herniated discs, I wanted to have the option of using my legs to help me paddle if I encountered pain or fatigue. It is easy to add or remove, depending on your journey. I often chart a lengthy paddle to a waterfall or remote area and that is all good on paper and in my mind. Then the return trip can be a beast and the Apex helps with that burden.

Must Haves for fishing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Apex pedal drive was one of the must haves for my setup. I can go farther and faster to fishing spots without wearing myself out. I like that I can lift the drive out of port and paddle around when desired.

Easy to install, powerful to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to pedal, way easier than a bike. Lots of power/speed and relative easy to install. The bag package it comes with is useful, but I’ve never needed it. The pedal drive has a wire attached to the pin that not only keeps it from falling off, but can wrap around to hold it all together when transporting.

its a great system. Especially
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] its a great system. Especially nice when you are in a current or against the wind. Can be a bit tricky at first to pull it back out, but works well.

Don't paddle if you can pedal.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time using this concept. I recently SUP the snake river in Twin Falls, Idaho. West of Pillar Falls and heading east to Shoshone Falls. You will need to PADDLE both ways. The current one way, and the wind (breeze) coming back. The pedaling is going to be make such a difference.
