These shoes are incredibly, delightfully cute and I get many compliments when I wear them. The sole feels really cushiony yet supportive and I love the way it facilitates a fluid heal-to-toe movement when I'm walking. However, it has such a strange and vexing construction. It's basically an open-air skeleton constructed around an interior sock of sorts, so when you're putting on the shoe you really have to get a good grip on the sock so it stays taut and in proper position around your foot. 90% of the time when I put on these shoes my socks get bunched up around my ankles from the sheer amount of friction is takes to get my foot in there. I could always loosen the laces and then re-tighten them once my feet are comfortably in there but no matter how you slice it, it's an adventure to get these things on and fitting properly. Lastly, I've seen a lot of comments on these running large so I ordered an 8.5 where I normally go for an 8, and there's quite a bit of space around my big toe. Overall, while these feel and look great while on the move, they're logistically challenging and I would argue, not worth what they cost.
