Small and slippery

Sizing is horribly small. After reading reviews, I ordered a half size bigger than my regular Adrenalines (which have a little space at the toe) and I was still jammed into the front of the shoe. They’re also extremely slippery. I wiped out twice on some crunchy ice that I’ve never otherwise slipped on. I was hoping to use these as a winter running shoe. Glad I was able to send them back without issue! These were an absolute disaster.

Runs very small.

Ugh…runs ridiculously small. I have 3 other Adrenalines and 7.5 is perfect. I received these for Christmas, super excited about the color and Gore Tex. But they run so small, my toe is at the very end, even with no socks. I double checked inside the shoe to make sure they weren’t in the wrong box. I have plenty of room in my others that are 7.5. And I also have worn the Ariel for years, always a 7.5. Yes, I know they are returnable but, Brooks, you need to be consistent. Returns are a pain and they don’t seem to be available in any stores near me. I am not even sure an 8 will do. Disappointed.

Slippery soles when wet.

Gore Tex is great and keeps the feet dry. However the soles when wet are dangerously slippery on ceramic, travertine, floors or smooth surfaces, especially like those in public buildings such as the Y or commercial offices lobbies.Too much plastic? Stick to rubber soles. Not good. Stop skimping on the quality.

Runs much smaller than the regular Adrenaline

I wanted to love these! After loyally running and walking in several pairs of Adrenalines for many years now, I was thrilled to see a waterproof / winter-happy model emerge. However, when my usual size (9) arrived, it was significantly smaller - everywhere - than the regular version. I have since returned them and ordered a 1/2 size up. Hope that works!

My toes are stay warm and dry this winter!

Love these shoes. I'm so grateful to have found a jogging/working out/living shoe for the winter that keeps my toes warm and dry. I went up half a size like the other reviews suggested and they fit great. What I love most about these and my other Adrenalines is how long the soles last. I wear these ten to twelve miles a day most days of the week and it was a solid ten months before my first pair wore down. My Nike's never last more than three months and even my Hoka's are toast after four or five months. The staying power of these alone makes them worth it. My one suggestion? The winter is drab enough - let's hit these with the neon stick! I want some bright green/yellow/orange/aqua for the grey days - all the way from the soles to the laces.

Adrnal8ne GTS 23

Thanks for the helpful reviews, to help with purchase. They do come up tight, would have gone half size bigger. They are slippy but overall very pleased, thankyou, worn in fast.

Not just for running

I'm 75 and started with plantar faciitis. Have had problem before and bought these a few years ago. Bought these and immediate relief.

Waterproof but not comfy

I really like how these are waterproof, but they are not comfortable at all. The sole could use a lot more cushion.

Disappointed

Unfortunately the heel collar was too low so didn’t hold my foot correctly. I had to send them back.

Too small. I think it’s the waterproofing that makes them smaller than other Brooks.
