Ghost 16 Shoe - Women's

Awful new design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The colors are beautiful but the new design is awful. I’m a runner and has been using the Brooks Ghost brand for years. I needed a pair of new running shoes and recently purchased Ghost 16. These shores are tearing up my feet along the side of her foot. I went for a short run and I couldn’t believe how it hurt my foot. Sadly, whatever changes Brooks made from Ghost 15 to Ghost 16 isn’t not good. Worst redesign. Now I’m left with the question what shoes should I order until the Ghost 16 design is fixed?

Not sure what’s change with Ghost! I can only wear for a short period of time before feet ache. The tongue is uncomfortable an after wearing the outside of my feet ache. So disappointing! My recommendations on another brand for daily walking!

Happy with these shoes

Very comfortable. I bought the size 11 medium width, coconut/chateau blue. Great fit. Especially love the wide toe box. Good cushioning and arch supports for walking. I like them so much, will be buying Ghost 16 again.

Different

I’ve been using Brooks Ghost shoes for 10-15 years now. These shoes feel different compared to previous versions. They feel less supportive and the sole feels more stiff. I really don’t like them as much as I used to. I will probably try a different shoe for my next shoe purchase.

comfortable shoes. I had to buy longer shoelaces as my feet are wide and needed more to be able to tie the shoe. But it is all good!

Using them for walking. Supportive and cushioned.

Ghost 16- feeling wide and too roomy at footbed. I’m disappointed as older model seems to be a bette fit.

The footbed seems wider than previous model. I thought I mistakenly ordered a wide, that’s how loose they feel. I purchased two pairs, but returned one due to the wider feel.

Pain free

I love these shoes! I’ve been purchasing them since Ghost 10. I was diagnosed with Morton’s Neuroma (numbing of my toes). I can run and workout in these shoes without pain. I can switch up the color each time.

Stability, toe space and feedback.

Feels like putting on supportive slippers! Have worn Ghost for years, was tempted to try OC Cloudsurfers but a big mistake for me. Am now injured!! Returning to the toe space, the stability and the feedback of Ghost is already making a huge difference. Lesson learned. Have never had an injury in Brooks, will never shift again. Keep making great footwear Brooks, my body needs them!

Lightweight with great cushioning

Great running shoe. I’ve been running in the Ghost for years and it always delivers great cushioning in the sole (feels like I’m running on clouds!) in a nice lightweight sneaker. The upper has a nice stretch and is wonderful for my annoying bunions; so comfortable!
