Absolutely loves these shoes! Pink is my favorite color and these are so comfortable. My feet are terrible but brooks shoes (especially these) are amazing. My feet don’t hurt.

Like Now, Love Later?
Usually, I wear Brooks Trace 2/Trace 3 shoes, and I love them so, but because I've been walking/jogging longer distances and have been dealing with occasional discomfort from a plantar fibroma, I decided to switch to a shoe with even more cushioning and support—thus, the Ghost Max 2. I've been using it for a few weeks now, and I am still breaking them in (something I didn't really go through with my Trace shoes). They have less "give" around the top of the foot, an issue I am hoping will resolve the more I use them. They do deliver on greater cushioning, though—I feel less of an impact on my feet and knees as I move, particularly when jogging. I am hopeful that once I break these in, I might be able to give them a five, but until then, I'm sticking with a four.

Hard pass - It’s a stacked heal with zero long term comfort
I’ve been wearing Brooks for over 10 years and these are the worst shoes I’ve ever purchased from the brand. You think you’re getting an extra cushion shoe but it’s not. My regular ghosts or glycerin shoes are 100% better in terms of cushion and long term comfort. This shoe actually hurts my feet when worn for more than a couple hours. Never had a problem with any other Brooks shoe in over 10 years. If you want cushion and you’re on the fence go with the regular ghosts or glycerin. These shoes basically have a stacked heal and bring none of the regular ghost qualities you’d expect from this style.

Why ?
Third pair of max. I where a wide in regular Ghost but had to get a regular in the Max. Really like the Max shoe and ordered again months later and the shoes were so narrow I could barely get them on. The older Max 2 is almost 1/2" wider when measuring than the new one ? Returned and we will see if it's any better. The new regular wide ghost is also tighter. Seems to not have consistent sizing even in the same model. I have probably bought over 20 pair of Brooks shoes over the years.

Not Like Ghost Max
I really wanted the Ghost Max - discontinued 😢. These cut off my circulation to one foot so unfortunately I returned. Don’t worry, I bought another pair!

Highly recommend
These are my favorite. I do NOT get sheen splints with these. I have a large selection of the Ghost shoes these are the best! I bought the white with the bright orange color. i have a narrow foot.
