Good shoe, but not what I needed

I am sure that it is a great shoe for runners. My situation is a bit different, being 76 with some considerable wear and tear issues from past running and other things, including 1 foot being fused. For my purposes, this shoe is far too “ squishy” making it not a stable platform. I had used Dyads for decades and was trying to find a suitable replacement after they were discontinued. Easies my foot pain

I have a neuroma that is quite painful, even if I'm going for just a brisk walk. Ghost Max cushion is exactly what my foot needed. Thank you Brooks!!!!

This is not a replacement for the Dyad

As a longtime Dyad wearer who uses orthotics and is on his feet for 8+ hour daily, I was concerned that I would not find a suitable replacement shoe. I tried the Ghost Max 2 because Brooks suggested it. These shoes aren't at all the same. The extra squishy footbed of the Ghost Max hurts my knees on both sides, tightens my hips, and causes my arch on one foot to feel super stretched out due to the squishyness of both ball and heel. I broke them in slowly by going on walks and using them for short periods of standing, hoping I would adapt. Will be sending them back and sadly trying other brands. I need a stable, neutral shoe that is not rockered and isn't like walking on foam.

Comfortable supportive shoe

I'm coming back after a two month break of recovering from runners knee. I wanted to make sure I had some fresh shoes with cushioning before I started back and after researching both online and with a couple of running stores I decided purchase the Ghost Max 2. After a week back I'm feeling happy about my purchase. My legs and feet are feeling good and the shoes are very comfortable and supportive

Excellent shoe, awesome cushioning and extremely comfortable. I’m not a runner, so I don’t use the shoes to run, but I stand most of the day at work and these are great. Highly recommend..

Nice shoe. Fits true to size for my 12.5 extra wide foot very similar to my other Brooks shoes. The support is there, even with the large cushioned sole. I have had problems with other large cushioned sole shoes of other brands not providing good enough support causing ankle roll. Laces are perhaps a tad shorter than I prefer, but work fine.

Great Shoe

Great fit, soft cushion insole with good fit. Room in the toe box for comfort. The shoe laces that came with them were extremely thin and short. I did replace those immediately after trying them on. But not a deal breaker.

Feel’s very comfortable and soft, I have five shoes all together.

An SUV

These Brooks shoes are the best! I tried three different models: Ghost, Glycerin, and Adrenaline. I live in San Francisco, and let me tell you, the Ghost Max grips the hills like an SUV. The cushioning is amazing, and it feels like I’m flying. I think I’ll stick with this one and get all the colors.

Nice! But not the Ghost

I found the shoe to be ok. It wasn’t what I had expected but I’m not completely disappointed. I was expecting something similar to the Ghost and I found it to be quite a bit different. That being said I will give it a fair chance!
