Why We Like The Bark Ranger Dog Bike Trailer
Feeling bad for leaving your four-legged friend at home while you go for a bike ride is a thing of the past with the Bark Ranger Dog Bike Trailer. Designed for ultimate comfort, your pet will love their ride just as much as you. The trailer features mesh windows, a roomy interior space free of sharp edges, removable flooring, and a low center of gravity for a smooth ride. On the human side, the flex connector will allow your bike to lay flat while the trailer stays upright with your pet while the integrated parking brake is locked in while taking a break. Once you and your pet are done with your adventure, the Bark Ranger easily folds down for storage or into a kennel for your home.

Would not waste my money on buying the dog bed
I have not taken it out yet on the road but some of the zippers already broke while setting it up and the dog bed I bought for the inside came really compact and vacuum sealed and after opening never fluffed up and doesn't really fit custom inside the bark ranger either.

I am currently in a
I am currently in a cross country ride on the southern tier, dragging behind me a Burley Bark Ranger with my best friend in it. 700 miles so far from Fort Lauderdale to Destin, Florida. SUPER HAPPY WITH PERFORMANCE…The Burley Bark Ranger has exceeded all expectations. A little over 2000 more miles to go. I will keep you posted. Thank You Burley and the Burley Team.

Great Investment
Very well designed. Our dog loves it and the training videos have helped us get him accustomed. Can't wait to put it to the test on a bikepacking trip.

Everything about this stroller is
Everything about this stroller is amazing! I could use a cup holder when I’m walking them to get my morning coffee but that is something I can order and strap it onto handle. My dogs love it! I haul 5 dogs in it bike riding most of the time! Then it pushes very nicely for a stroller!!! We have bought 2 very high end strollers for our furry kids and this is 10 times what they are!! Changing over from bike to stroller is very simple. All the panels are convenient! My dogs don’t get hot in there either! The quality is amazing! Rain cover is perfect. We loaded our with everything you could buy almost other than kickstand and I would like that too but we make do for now. It sets up in a matter of a minute or two as well!! Excellent work making this stroller/pet trailer!!!

This thing is a breeze
This thing is a breeze to use and our dog loves it! Our anxious rescue hates being left alone & the Bark Ranger has made it possible for me to go on longer bike rides again. We eased him into it, using it first as an in-house crate for a week or two, then an outdoor crate, then as a trailer. He **did** throw up about 7 times on our first ride, but with a couple adjustments (mother riding in front instead of behind us, fewer treats thrown into the trailer), he has been fine ever since! We take it down to the local dog park, to restaurants, and on a couple longer rides; my hope is to eventually get back into bikepacking trips and bring him along :D Reference for photos: Tulkas is a 50lb male standard poodle. The XL allows him to comfortably stand while riding and is the same size as his crate.

What a well built wagon.
What a well built wagon. And it really does not need suspension, really .

The Perfect Pet Chariot
Wow, I had high hopes that the Bark Ranger would work for our two small small dogs to take them on bike and walk trips, as they are both older and not up to the long hauls like they used to be. The Bark Ranger exceeded those hopes! It comfortably seats both pets, at about 25lbs each, and both sit and are able to have line of sight in all directions and look very much at-ease while inside; they actually love the rides. The roll-down shades make light and sun control easy. The ride is absolutely smooth on all of the terrain we've encountered in both trailer and stroller configurations. It has excellent balance and is stable even when the dogs are moving or adjusting position inside. Maneuvering the cart in stroller configuration is very agile. We can handle curved sidewalks and sharp turns, and the overall lightweight build makes pushing it on to grass, dirt, and gravel a worry-free event. The included flag and reflectors work well and I don't have any worries about traffic visibility of the cart in either mode. It attaches to an e-bike easily and securely as well. When we need to place it in the car, it collapses enough to compact into the back storage area of our mid-size suv; its easy to take on car trips! Just an great purchase. Outstanding.

Upgrade for our social rider!
Very durable and comfortable ride for boy. The big cushy wheels and padded liner makes the ride easier for Nelson on rough New Orleans streets. He loves it!

Bark Ranger XL after 700 miles...
My 75-pound lab and I have travelled 700 miles so far in our Bark Ranger XL, most recently on a 5-day bike camping trip along the Erie Canal. We rigged a sling between the push handle and frame to carry our sleeping bag, tent, sleeping mat on Burley to keep some of the weight off the bike. This worked great. We used the rain cover at night to store items in the trailer and protect them from getting wet, this worked great as well. The only problems we've had are with the parking brake. The cable came loose from the tie wrap that secures it in-place on the inside of the trailer, easy fix. The other may have been self-imposed... The trailer rolled on a steep hill with the parking brake engaged and damaged the wheel sprockets so the pins would not engage and hold the trailer stationary. Big problem if a stop is necessary on a hill! Looks like there are replacements available so I'll repair and keep a spare on hand for the next trip. Overall, super satisfied.
